SAFETY POLICY

At Matt Dalley Demolition we place the highest value on the health, safety and welfare of our employees, subcontractors and the community. Our commitment to providing a safe working environment for our employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public makes us a leader in the demolition industry.

Management remains dedicated to the continued development and training of all employees, along with the provision of equipment and resources, so that all work may be completed safely and efficiently. Compliance with our Occupational Health & Safety workplace policies and procedures are of the utmost importance. Our commitment to providing a safe working environment will not be compromised.

It is a responsibility of all Matt Dalley Demolition personnel, and contractors hired by Matt Dalley Demolition, to comply with Matt Dalley Demolition’s OHS Management system. The system has been developed in line with AS/NZS 4801 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, the OHS Act & Regulations, Australian Standards, Codes of Practice and industry standards.

The participation of individual employees is integral to providing a safe workplace. All Matt Dalley Demolition employees have a responsibility to ensure that the work they undertake or supervise is carried out safely and without injury.

We have a strong commitment to consulting with our employees to identify health and safety concerns which may arise. As these concerns are raised immediate action is taken to ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

The successful implementation of this policy will be implemented by:

• Providing OHS training and education on all aspects to safely complete tasks;
• Reporting and recording of incidents, accidents, injuries and illnesses;
• Providing OHS equipment, services and facilities;
• Inspecting workplaces and evaluations;
• Continually monitoring and changing work practices to suit;
• Providing information to employees, contractors and sub-contractors
